Company

At the present it is one of the main producers of shelves, shelving systems and mailboxes on the Slovak market. For ten years of its activity the company forced its way to the four foremost production enterprises of the region of Bytča. At the present it employs 130 employees and from the point of view of evaluation of work productivity and export per an employee this company belongs to the group of industrial enterprises with better-than-average evaluation achieved in the mentioned indicators within the Slovak Republic.

A reason of the success of this company is the fact that it gains in popularity of domestic as well as foreign customers and producers within the framework of its portfolio and the ability to act on the European Union markets. Continuous process of technological innovations is a presumption of its further development and at the same time the priority of the company Technometal.


History of company

Technometal, Ltd. Corp. Pleaced at Hlinická way 014 01, Bytča was established on 30.06.1991. From 01.01.1992 has begun realize actual subject of activity what means jproducing of metal furniture and a shelves systems. Company bought a property from a town Bytca, which this property took from state company Kovosluzba Žilina, which was in winding up.

Quality policy

Continuous preserving the quality of our products is a necessity which ensures our abiding position on the market and our competitiveness. The ability to meet requirements of our customers must be our permanent goal. The quality of our products is the final result of activities of all employees. From this point of view the high-quality carrying out all activities must be the primary interest of each employee of the STM company. Generally valid principles and requirements for controlling and assuring the quality are set in the international standards ISO 9001, the STM management has decided about establishing the quality assurance system according to the mentioned standards. To highlight importance of the quality and accomplish the customer-oriented quality policy the STM management declares the following principles as primary tasks for assuring the quality:

1. The quality is determined by a customer
Delivered products have to meet substantiated requirements and desires of a customer starting from the first delivery. We will apply the same requirements on deliveries purchased from our suppliers.
2. The quality does not originates at the inspection only
The quality of products is formed through the whole production process - starting from the receiving an order, through technical preparing the production, planning, own production and sale.
3. The quality is influenced by every employee
The quality of products delivered to customers is influenced, both directly and indirectly, by all activities and all employees of the company. Therefore, everyone has to act in such the way that customers receive the high-quality products only.
4. Everyone is a customer as well as a supplier at the same time
A customer is every employee as well as every department, because everyone receives results of our works within our company. Therefore everyone has to act in such the way that a customer - colleague is satisfied and the internal environment of co-operation and understanding is the environment of confidence.
5. A low-quality product influences our economy and creates advantages for our competition
A low-quality product increases costs, decreases selling ability and our credibility in customer`s eyes.
6. We have to take continuous care about the quality
Our effort focused on the quality does not finish when the effective quality assurance system is established. The process of continuous improvement of products has to be fixed working method in order to keep competitiveness of our products in the market environment.
7. Relationship to the environment
All activities carried out in STM have to be executed purposefully with minimum load of the environment.
